Eyeliner Embroidery

I have always wanted a easy way out.... how about not having the trouble to draw anymore eyeliner, and when drawing it... just trying so hard to get both to be balance... not having worries about the smudge after a long day.... or sweat... hm.... sound nice....

Something I want to try for a long time... but imagine having needles on your eyelid, the most thinner skin among you... the pain... argh....

However... I still wanted to try... but the price of doing so was another draw back reason... some cost $860++ and some more than $1k or even $2k.... phew....

So I came across this advertisement by "Juz Today.

The price indicated and advertise was $39... Definately not true...everyone should know that an eyeliner embroidery is more than that and $39 is impossible. So... I called the shop and May the beautician answered  May actually told me that I do not need to purchase the voucher from Juz Today and still she will give me the same promotion price. and so I make an appointment with her.

Well... My appointment should be 11.45am when I called their shop, However, May was really blur who called me 1 day before the appointment and confirm with me that I have cancel it. I was like "huh...??" Did I not mentioned that May was a china citizen, so our conversation was all in chinese. The called to me was a Thursday afternoon, I was caught in surprise.. I told her that my appointment was actually on the coming Saturday 11.45am, than she ask me whether can I go at 11am as she had another appointment at 12pm..... hm.... guess not much different.

I do appear at the shop 15min earlier on that particular Saturday morning... and the shop was not open yet... so I waited patiently at the coffeebean near the shop....and when its already 11am... the shop is still not open...

I have waited for another 25min before the shop was opened. I was there with a friend who actually wanted to trim her eyebrow... so after we walk in, we are kind of weary to know that the beautician is not in shop yet.. Its another 15min of waiting before she walk in.

The shop was small.... very small.... and after the beautician May came, we have a chat... she show us alot of her work and she told us that she had 20yrs of experiences in this trade and she is good with doing her job. And told me there are lots of different type of eyeliner embroidery... some are hidden type which is not obvious.... some are just 1 line which that $39 voucher would have done and the normal type which I am going to do. I am convince thg... however I wanted to talk about the price. I know the cheapest price I can get is around $500 to do this.... and definately not $39. We kind of having some negotiation with her the room before I decide to do it. She was offering me the price of $420. But I have nego to a price of $350. (alittle regret... I should go much lower ike $300).  And we need to get a lotion to apply after it was done to prolong the colour which will cost $88 (this I was not told as she admit she forget about it till I have done everything).

OK... enought of my stories.... The place name is Paris Brow House @ Chinatown Point #02-32
Look at the name sound like a very "ang mo" place.... there are only 2 staff doing it, and if you are considering this place... please take my advise to pick a time which is off peak timing and during weekdays.... There are alot of tourist and they are very irritating.

I am kind of unhappy when I was ask to do my eyeliner outside instead of the facial room they have, May told me as all her equipment are outside but I think because the shop only have 2 staff mending and 1 of them actually have to do facial and she have to do it outside just to mend the shop..

After I decide to do it, she start removing my eye make up... and applying Anesthetic on both my eyes... and was told to wait for 30min,,, so I was doing nothing with my eyes close for 30 min....

She told more than 30min to remove the Anesthetic off my eyes and ask me to go out of the room to get my eyeliner done....

The starting is really painless because of the Anesthetic... I dont really feel anything at all. One thing I cant take it is... while on the process of doing my eyeliner, there are irritating tourist asking question and she need to answer and trying to catch more business.... OMG!!! and after a while... I feel that my right eyes Anesthetic is fading off.... it took a long time for her to do my left eyes which she started first... I believe it took almost 20min on my left eyes... imagine.... an Anesthetic can last for about an hour only... and she took 30min for the Anesthetic to take effect... and spending 20min to move in and out and entertain other customer... and therefore my right eyes only have 10 min left of Anesthetic, after 20min of my left eye... I start to feel pain... the sharp pain on the needle poking my eyelid which is unbearable... so she start putting so call liquid Anesthetic on it.... gosh... After she start on my right eyes... I could feel the pain... I was complain how pain it was but she said in order for her to apply that liquid Anesthetic she needs to go thru the 1st layer of color....

It was really hell... and after she think she has satisfied with her work, she pass me a mirror to look at it and see whether she like what I saw...I have difficulty opening my eyes actually because of the spotlight the shop have.... ... honestly I didnt know how good it was... She was the one helping me to see whether its balance... whether longer I need or whatever... gosh... doing the eyeliner without Anesthetic is hell.....  One thing u need to know too.... while doing the eyeliner... the liner will smash all over ur face..... which means... the make up I apply there is all gone....

Lets look at the result dont we? Look at the before and after result of the eyeliner embroidery
My friend it looks very natural..... I guess too....

Day 1 of the eyeliner done......
Day 2, the next morning after I work up....

1 month later since I get my eyeliner done...
My eyeliner is getting more natural after a month....not as thick as my 1st done.
